Plotyst is a social app concept for tracking movies, TV shows and anime. This policy explains what data Plotyst collects, why it collects it, how it uses it, when it shares it, and the choices and rights available to users.

This public website currently presents Plotyst and links users to contact addresses. The audited website code does not include account creation, analytics, cookies, advertising SDKs, payment processing, push notifications, or a backend waitlist submission.

Based on the audited public website repository, the website does not currently send account, profile, viewing activity, social activity, device, notification, subscription, analytics, cookie, or local storage data to Plotyst.

The waitlist form validates an email address in the browser and shows a local success message. In the audited code, it is not connected to a backend and does not transmit the email address.

If you contact Plotyst by email, we receive the information you choose to include in that message, such as your email address and message content.

For the public website, Plotyst uses only the information you choose to send by email to respond to your request, provide support, and keep appropriate records of communications.

Before any mobile app launch, account, social, notification, purchase, analytics, or other data practices must be confirmed from the production app code and reflected here.

• Performance of a contract, when we need information to respond to a request or provide a requested service.
• Legitimate interests, such as maintaining the website, handling support requests, and protecting the service.
• Consent, where a future feature asks for optional permission.
• Legal obligation, where we must keep or disclose information to comply with applicable law.

The audited website code confirms the use of Vercel/Next.js hosting infrastructure for the public website. No analytics, advertising, crash reporting, authentication, database, storage, subscription, or push notification provider is present in this repository.

Information may also be shared if required by law or when necessary to protect rights, safety, or security.

The audited public website does not include user profiles, reviews, comments, lists, follows, blocks, mutes, Cine Club, or Plot Twist interactions. Public sharing rules for the mobile app must be confirmed from the production app before launch.

The audited public website does not request notification permission and does not collect Expo push tokens or other push notification tokens.

The audited public website repository does not include RevenueCat, Apple In-App Purchase code, subscription handling, entitlement checks, or payment processing.

If Plotyst Pro is added in the mobile app, Apple would process Apple in-app purchase payment information, and Plotyst should not claim to receive full payment card details unless that is verified.

For email communications, Plotyst keeps messages only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, provide support, maintain records, or comply with legal obligations.

No fixed retention period for mobile app account data was found in the audited public website repository.

EU/EEA users may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or port their personal information, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. They may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

To delete your Plotyst account and associated data, follow the steps on our Delete account page. To request privacy help or deletion of information you have sent to Plotyst by email, contact privacy@plotyst.com.

We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect personal information. No website or app can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

The audited public website repository does not contain an App Store age rating or product age rule. Parents or guardians with privacy questions can contact Plotyst using the address below.

Service providers used to operate the website may process information in countries outside your country. Where applicable, Plotyst relies on appropriate safeguards required by law.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes may be communicated through the app or website, and the Last updated date will change.
